2) Old Business

a) Reauthorization of Surface Transportation Act and the DBE Program

i) The Surface Transportation reauthorization process has begun in Congress and the Department of Transportation (DOT), with the current authorization set to expire on September 30, 2026. The current law is part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), which was signed in November 2021. See attached.

b) Report on invitation to Nick Langworthy to discuss the bill on comparative negligence for gravity related injuries.
