On Tuesday, January 31st, the Women Builders Council held another seminar in its WBC Small Business Seminar Series: “Up in the Cloud: Is Cloud Computing Right for Your Business?Marc Hadfield, founder of software consultancy Vital.AI, gave attendees an excellent presentation on the genesis of cloud computing, its benefits for small businesses and how owners can avoid some common pitfalls among cloud users. Thanks to Marc for taking the time to answer all of our questions and showing us how to take our business to the next level! On Thursday, January 26th, Women Builders Council held a WBC Small Business Seminar on "Understanding RFPs and Writing Winning Proposals"Michael Tolliver, Vice President for Marketing and Business Development for McKissack & McKissack, gave participants a clear, inside view of the RFP process and tips on writing attention-getting, winning proposals for more business.  The workshop is part of our WBC Small Business Seminar Series and was made possible in part by the New York City Council.
