Volume I, Issue 7 - Week of February 16, 2009

Last week Congress approved a negotiated version of President Obama’s infrastructure stimulus package. You’ll find several articles here that provide specific details of how the funds will be allocated.

According to a state analysis, New York stands to set about $24.6 billion as part of the stimulus package, an increase of $3 billion from an earlier estimate. Still, concerns over how that will impact smaller companies and MWBEs abound.

We will continue to keep you updated as the details unfold.

We want to hear from you. Please share your ideas on issues that affect your business.
