Dear Friends,
Welcome to the Women Builders Council. I am grateful and excited to serve as
President of this important organization.
Since 2004, the WBC has been a strong voice for women in the building industry.
From the beginning, we have forged important relationships and worked closely
with local and state legislature to impact public policies aimed at minority
and women-owned businesses throughout the building industry.
WBC members serve as
mentors to minority and women owned small businesses as well as young women in
our industry. Helping these businesses grow is our highest goal and through our
mentoring programs, workshops, free seminars and local outreach we provide the
right tools to achieve success. Going forward, members
can be sure that the Women Builders Council will continue to provide the
mentoring, advocacy, and procurement guidance that have become our standard
while ensuring that all M/WBEs working in the building trade are
afforded every opportunity to
make the most of their talents and achieve the highest level of success
possible.
